Now Owl Urgent Care and Walk-In Care
Whether you’ve got a high fever, a broken ankle, or you need to get your child immunized for enrollment for the upcoming school year, Owl Now Urgent Care and Walk-in Clinic is here to help.
We are a walk-in care facility that specializes in both adult care and pediatrics. No matter what your unforeseen medical emergency, we’re here for you. We are open seven days a week, 10 am to 10 pm. We have two convenient locations: Winter Haven and Lakeland. Feel free to call either of these locations when necessary.
Convenient hours, two locations, and experienced doctors who care for their patients are just some of the many reasons why you should visit Owl Now Urgent Center when you have a medical emergency.
We have pediatricians and adult doctors on staff to assist with all your medical emergency needs. We know that pediatricians know and deal with kids best, which is why we have so many on our staff to help you. Whether your child is running a fever, has a broken or injured limb, or if they simply need immediate medical attention, our medical doctors are here to help. Our walk-in clinic also sees patients for flu vaccines, TDAP vaccines, and any other immunization needs you may have, no matter what your age. Whatever your medical needs, we’ve got you covered!
Working With You And Your Primary Care Doctor
We work with many area doctors and medical centers, so patients won’t have to worry about insurance or paperwork. We even consult with your regular doctor prior to any procedures we may have to perform. Both Owl Now Urgent Care locations are well-equipped to handle all kinds of minor to moderate medical emergencies, whether it’s a sprained ankle or a need for an EKG. Our friendly and courteous staff is always ready to help, whether it involves medical paperwork or calming down your baby after a vaccination.
Gluing And Suturing For Stitches
One of the best ways to help a child who needs stitches is to calm them down and soothe their fears, and here at Owl Now Urgent Care, we have also found that popsicles are also quite helpful in the healing process. Small children especially may be afraid of doctors and needles. That’s why we prefer to use a skin-grafting glue for minor stitching situations that may not be too deep. Our doctors also try to use stitching and suturing techniques that involve the minimal amount of scarification, so the healing process is quick and virtually invisible. We love working with children here at Owl Now Urgent Care and want to make sure both the parent and child are happy when they leave our medical center.
Here For All Your Medical Needs
Whether a patient is stopping by for a flu shot or one of your children broke their arm when they fell out of a tree, here at Owl Now Urgent Care, we take care of them all, big or small. We also work well with elderly patients who may need immediate medical attention, with an EKG machine and x-ray capabilities at both our sites.
